Let us pray,
Spirit of God, you are the source of all our being. We pray for peace in anxiety during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. Loving and all wise God, we come to you full of anxiety about what may happen in the coming days and weeks. Give us the strength to call upon your name. May your strength give us wisdom and hope for tomorrow. May your peace rest and rule within our mind, body and spirit. Make us steady pillars for those that seek our help. May this time of uncertainty and epidemic, wake us up to the reminder that we are not alone, and that your presence is with us every day and every night.
Amen

Who we are

Values

One of our core values to be established as leaders through self-awareness.

Self-Esteem

We believe that self-esteem is the basic foundation of the structure of our temple. It is about who you are and whom you belong to. Self-esteem reminds us that when we look in the mirror, we realize that we are not junk but are wondrously made by God.

Truth

We believe that the truth is to know that you know. “Jesus said if you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32) We want to keep these values and practices in our ministry. The truth is living by faith in the care that we offer.

Respect

We believe that connection is our commitment to treat all people with equal rights, dignity, and worth.

Self-Awareness

Identity means being aware of our traits, and being authentic. Our authenticity allows us then to be informed about ourselves and others, and to discover how each of us is unique and wondrously made. When we look in the mirror, we can appreciate how God has blessed us. We are authentic, which means that we do not put on airs just to get people to like us. We keep it real with our ministry. We acknowledge before others that we are not perfect and that God is not finished with us yet.

Empowerment

We believe that we can empower others to offer their gifts, talents, and services to someone who is in need. We enable individuals to think, behave, and take action and gain control over their own lives. We empower others through education, spiritual, and emotional support to all individuals.

Responsibility

We believe it is our responsibility to be prayer warriors and to offer compassion, love, and trust. We are responsible for our actions as leaders, upholding the good and moral standards of the law.

Dignity

We treat our entire ministry with dignity and do not judge. We are there to offer dignity and respect for cultural and religious beliefs. We are there to listen and talk without giving unwanted advice.

Accountability

We believe we are accountable to God for calling us into the ministry. We are further accountable to work with all families who seek our aid and to show support—to offer ways to sustain all families.
